Hello, fellow Lethbridge College students,

I’m Noel Cole and I am thrilled to be running for the position of Vice President of Operation and Finance at the Lethbridge College Student Association. Originally from the vibrant city of Kingston, Jamaica, I embarked on a new chapter of my life when I moved to Canada in September of 2023 to pursue my studies in the Computer Information Technology Program at Lethbridge College.

Throughout my time here, I have been deeply inspired by the sense of community and togetherness that defines our college experience. Having volunteered in various activities and initiatives organized by the LCSA such as the clothing drive I have witnessed firsthand the incredible impact that student-led initiatives can have on our campus. These experiences have fuelled my passion for serving others and have motivated me to step forward and contribute to the betterment of student life.

Having transitioned as an international student myself, I intimately understand the challenges and complexities that accompany adapting to life in a new country. The journey of acclimating to a different culture, navigating unfamiliar systems, and building a new community has granted me a profound appreciation for empathy, resilience, and the importance of support networks.

With a genuine desire to make a difference and competence in financial management, I am confident in my ability to fulfil the responsibilities of this role effectively. I am eager to collaborate with my fellow students, listen to your concerns, and work tirelessly to implement positive change within our student association.

Hi Everyone,

My name is Celine Gilbert. I am currently your Vice President of Operations and Finance at the LCSA. I am re-running for the same position for 2024/2025.

 As a Criminal Justice Student, I believe in being the change you want to see, which is why I love this position so much, as I get to do just that by advocating for students on important issues such as tuition, mental health, the challenges faced by international students, and more.

Looking ahead, I'm eager to continue supporting you in any way I can. I believe in open dialogue, where your feedback transforms into action.
